| NEW PUBLISHING CONTRACT |
I've just signed a new publishing deal with THE HOUSE OF MURKY DEPTHS who are planning to launch a new range of fiction novels. And I'm their first Horror Romance writer.
Gabriele Caccini will therefore be coming off the shelves very shortly in it's current format.
If you've bought one already - don't panic!! This book, by it's sheer rarity, will then become more valuable.
In the same vein (pun intended), it's going to be re-edited, and relaunched, with new scenes, as KILLING KISS in September 2008. The the first batch of 200 will be first edition books and will therefore be a good future purchase.
(I'm telling you all this because you will shortly be able to pre-order the new book and obtain a first edition via the publishers website - will keep you posted when!)
In the meantime you can visit MURKY DEPTHS and take a look at their fourth edition Magazine which contains my poem DEMON LOVER and some kick-ass artwork that accompanies it by MARTIN DEEP.
BOOK TWO will follow shortly though publication date hasn't been set yet.
Keep well and thanks for all of your support!

| EASTERCON |
I have just returned from EasterCon, which took place at the Edwardian Radisson Heathrow. This year it was run by Orbital who did a fantastic job of organising it down to the finest detail.
I have never been to an EasterCon before but I found it to be tremedous fun and in true form I had entusiastically signed up for 5 panels. Once I was given the list of them - my senses returned and I thought = oh dear! What have I agreed to?
Having said that, the first one Wells, Clarke, Asimov: Lost in Translation which was at 4pm on Friday helped me lose my panel nerves. This discussion took place with John Medany, Frank Wu and John Wadsworth-Ladkin as moderator. It was great because the other panellists had such interesting things to say - and that meant thankfully I didn't have to talk too much!

My Second panel was the highlight for me, however. It was Supernatural Romance with Tanith Lee, Jo Fletcher and Kim Lakin-Smith as moderator.
I was very at home discussing my own genre, as you can imagine, and it was made so much easier for me because of the professionalism of Tanith and Jo who are the real experts - me being the newbie, I did feel I wouldn't have much to say. But it all went well.
The best part for me though was that I met Tanith who has been one of my Icon's for years. She is a completely lovely, genuine and warm person.

Met up with Chaz Brenchley also and we sat around signing books in Newbury suite. And had a great chat with Juliet McKenna - whose very intelligent son Ian, made a huge impact on me with his input when he attended one of my panels.
